Beliefs and Statement of Faith

Brian Turner Ministries is rooted in historic Christian orthodoxy and joyfully committed to Spirit-filled, Pentecostal-Charismatic faith and practice. The beliefs below express what we hold to be true and essential for life, discipleship, and ministry.

Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God.

Scripture is sufficient for faith and life, fully revealing God’s truth, character, and redemptive purposes. We interpret Scripture faithfully, depend on the illumination of the Holy Spirit, and submit our beliefs and practices to God’s Word.

God

We believe in one God—eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is holy, loving, faithful, and sovereign, actively involved in creation and redemption, and worthy of worship, obedience, and trust.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return again in glory. Salvation is found in Christ alone.

Salvation

We believe salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, made new by the Holy Spirit, and invited into a transformed life marked by holiness, freedom, and obedience.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively at work today.

The Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and guides God’s people. We believe in the ongoing work and gifts of the Holy Spirit, including healing, prophecy, tongues, discernment, and other gifts given for the building up of the Church and the mission of God.

We pursue Spirit-filled living with expectancy and discernment—embracing supernatural power without hype, manipulation, or imbalance.

Sanctification and Spiritual Formation

We believe believers are called to ongoing growth in Christlikeness through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual formation involves obedience, repentance, renewal of the mind, healing of the heart, and transformation of character as we walk daily with God.

The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers, called to worship God, make disciples, live in community, and bear witness to the gospel in word and deed.

The Church is empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry the presence, compassion, and authority of Jesus into the world.

Healing and Deliverance

We believe Jesus still heals, restores, and sets people free.

We pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, trusting God’s power and sovereignty, and minister with humility, faith, and pastoral wisdom.

The Christian Life

We believe the Christian life is marked by love, holiness, faith, humility, generosity, service, and dependence on God.

Believers are called to live with integrity, pursue justice, walk in freedom, and reflect the character of Christ in every area of life.

The Return of Christ

We believe Jesus Christ will return again to judge the living and the dead and to fully establish His Kingdom.

This hope shapes how we live—with faithfulness, urgency for mission, and confidence in God’s ultimate victory.

Our Posture

We hold these beliefs with conviction and humility—anchored in Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and expressed through love.

Our desire is not merely right doctrine, but right living, shaped by truth and animated by the presence of God.
